My regimen is still in the development phase. My hair tends toward the dry side, so I focus on moisture. One thing I've learned is that planning is all well and good, but you have to monitor your hair if you want to stay ahead of setbacks, so I have been working on a "go by feel" regimen to this point. It worked well enough to get me to shoulder length, but my progress stalled. If I want to be APL by year's end its time to step up my game. Having said that this regimen reflects what I am trying for summer, rather than what I have been doing so far.
The new regimen is low manipulation and heavy on protective styling. Sunday is wash day with a midweek wash/cowash as needed.
Sundays :
* Prepoo with a cheapie conditioner 30 mins-1 hr no heat
*Shampoo
* Deep Condition with a moisturizing conditioner for 1 hr -2hrs no heat
*Apply leave-ins
*Air dry
* Moisturize and seal
Swim days :
*Wet hair and saturate with conditioner
*Wear a swimming cap
* Rinse and lightly shampoo/cowash in the shower
*Apply leave-ins
*Air dry
* Moisturize and seal
Daily:
*Moisturize in sections
*Finger comb hair into a bun or pony
*Sleep in satin scarf
Misc:
*Self Relax every 10-12 weeks (searching for a staple relaxer)
*Light Protein Treatment 1x/week
*Clarify 1x/month
*Protective style except for special occasions

Greetings and Salutations,
My name is Erin and I'm a harinista. I have a mildly unhealthy obsession with healthy hair, and I'm out to acquire it by any means necessary. I have shoulder length, texlaxed, 4a hair with slightly damaged ends.
I have two main goals. First, arm pit length hair (APL) by December 2009. Second, I want healthy, blunt ends.
